The story of BBC America’s Outnumbered surrounds the confused pandemonium of family life in a way you can never ever imagine. The family we are dealing with in this comedy series has five members in total: two parents, played by Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner, along with their three children, as they are locked in an uneven battle.
Outnumbered observes the world from both the children’s point of view as well as the adults' point of view, by means of ways of creative alternations and improvisations. The parents, Dennis and Claire continuously try to keep their children in hand and disciplined, but alas, absolutely fail to do so. And about the children … Ohh, now what to say about them! Jake, eleven years old is suspicious and worries about everything right from his new school to the world being sucked into a black hole, seven-year-old Ben always wants to watch Little Britain, lies to his parents all the time, and last but not the least five-year-old Karen shoots everyone with her boundless and infinite number of questions.
The cast of Outnumbered are: Hugh Dennis (Oz Raise The Bar, Mock The Week, Hugh And The Now Show), Claire Skinner (Sense And Sensibility, Trinity, Life Begins), David Ryall (Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows, The League Of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse), Samantha Bond (Die Another Day, Downton Abbey), Daniel Roche (Just William), Ramona Marquez (The King’s Speech) and Tyger Drew-Honey (The Armstrong & Miller Show).
