Oh! What a night it was! All the DWTS fans were sitting at the edge of their sits and the final results of Dancing with the Stars season 13 was coming out. the night proved to be a night of tears and surprises and shock (to me at least). Watching DWTS season 13 finale on DISH Network HD was an experience to remember.
According to the experts this years’ DWTS had the most evenly matched finale ever in the history of this popular ballroom dancing reality show. Naturally, the mirror ball trophy was anyone's trophy to take home. And when it came to the top two- It really came as a shocker.
After the performance of Monday night Rob Kardashian came on top after a stellar freestyle, and the season-long frontrunners J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake were tied for second. Both of them were trailing Kardashian by three points.
And after a 10 week- long battle between all three finalists, it came down to a fight between the most improved performer and the indestructible fighter. And one of them nabbed the mirror ball trophy.
OK! Enough of suspense – let us disclose the winner (I know you probably already guessed the names). And the winner is… Iraq War veteran-turned actor, J.R. Martinez with partner Karina Smirnoff (It was her first time too)!
After the announcement it became especially hard not to feel misty-eyed when he proudly held the Mirror Ball over his head. It’s the moments like this which make Dancing With the Stars so popular among DISH Network TV viewers.
